Assess BRCA risk in women with family history: panel
December 23, 2013 — NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Updated recommendations from the
US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) advise that primary
care providers screen asymptomatic women with a family history
of breast, ovarian, tubal, or peritoneal cancers to determine if
that family history may be associated with an increased risk for
potentially harmful mutations in breast cancer susceptibility
genes BRCA1 or BRCA2.
Platinum-combination chemotherapy improves survival in recurrent ovarian cancer

platinum chemotherapy, platinum-combination chemotherapy
improves survival in patients with recurrence of ovarian cancer,
