Gossip writer Archerd dies; revealed Hudson's AIDS
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Gossip columnist Army Archerd, who wrote upbeat stories about movie stars for the Hollywood trade paper Daily Variety for more than 50 years, died in a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday, a spokeswoman said. He was 87.

US court rules for Travelers in asbestos case
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday for Travelers Companies Inc , one of the largest U.S. property and casualty insurers, and said a lower court erred in overturning the approval of the company's nearly $500 million settlement of asbestos-related litigation.
