What Are the Signs and Symptoms of Endometrial Cancer?

 

More than 80 percent of cases of endometrial cancer are found in the earliest, most treatable stages because women usually notice when bleeding is abnormal and report it to their doctors. Endometrial cancer can cause any of the signs and symptoms listed below.

  • Bleeding - Irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting during or after menopause, longer periods, bleeding between periods, and blood in the stool or urine.
  • Pain - Pain in the pelvic area (lower part of the abdomen between the hip bones), painful or difficult urination, and pain during intercourse.
  • Vaginal discharge - Pink, watery, or white discharge from the vagina.
  • Weight loss - Unexplained weight loss.
