I was diagnosed in July of 2006 with Serous Papillary Carcinoma of the uterus. I had a complete hysterectomy and 35 lymph nodes were sampled. I received seven Chemo treatments consisting of Taxol, Cisplatin and Adriamycin. My last Chemo treatment was 1/31/07.
I have very uncomfortable feet. If I'm on them too long, they will burn. They tingle, hurt and often feel cold. I have decided there is a very thin line between feeling cold and burning! At my three-month checkup in January I asked my oncologist if he thought my feet would gradually start returning to normal. He didn't extend much hope that they would. My feet actually continued to get worse after I was finished with Chemo. My doctor had put me on Gabapentin, but the side effects were almost as bad as the problem.
I would appreciate any information you might have about my problem.
