RAISING MONEY FOR TEAM IN TRAINING

Hi, I am actually writing this for a friend because she doesn't feel it is the best place to solicit for contributions to Team in Training for a charity event. But, I say 'Who cares!'. The more people that contribute the closer someone will be toward finding a cure or better treatments. Could you imagine if everyone in the world gave one dollar toward cancer research. My God! I can't even imagine the benefits and how far it would go toward the necessary research. So, a very dear friend of mine whose life has been touched too many times by loved ones with cancer is participating in a fundraising event. It's with Team In Training, and all donations are totally tax deductible. The great thing about TNT is that not only do they raise money for cancer research but they promote good health and fitness by doing so. Even if you can only contribute a small amount but are able pass the website and this information on to one, two or three people and it keeps going and going and going, then we can truly build the momentum necessary to win the battle against all kinds of cancers I believe. The main website for TNT is TeamInTraining.org - my friends' page to make a tax deductible contribution to her event and help raise the $6000 she needs to participate is: http://www.active.com/donate/tntgla/KGriffin And, please if you've ever thought of getting involved in helping a good cause TNT is the one to do it with, and, you'll promote good health doing it. Thanks Someone who knows what it means to lose people to cancer.
