Hi Ann,
Information and Healing
I couldn't agree more! One of the most important things a person can do to help him or herself heal is to become informed about all of the choices available to individuals with a cancer diagnosis.
This includes learning more about treatment options; how to eat healthfully (one of my areas of expertise); how to connect with family, friends, and even others who are going through what you are; and how to tap into mind-body-spirit approaches for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
An Abundance of Resources
Along with the annieappleseedproject, you can tap into the resources right here on Caring4Cancer.com. We offer a wealth of information, available free to anyone who would like to access it. Here are some links to just a sampling of what we offer.
But be sure to take a few extra minutes to surf around our entire website too, so you can find exactly what you need!
