Does anyone have a diagnosis of "Sweet's Syndrome"? It is a rare, very painful skin disease, commonly linked with Leukemia's. No, I have no diagnosis of having any type of Leukemia, my bone-marrow is not working properly.
I had a puch biopsy done on my hand, will be two years ago, this December. Sweet's Syndrome begins as a tiny blister, then usually becomes infected, and is very painful. Most commonly, these sores are found on the hands, face, and in your mouth. The Dermotologist who conducted my puch biopsy, had only seen this rare skin disease twice. First time was on his brother, who died from AML at age 22, before he had a chance to have a bone-marrow-transplant. Then, several years later, he saw it on me.
I have never met anyone, or have spoken to anyone with this condition. I was thinking, there must be someone else out there, who has this, too.
