Is there anyone out there that has lung cancer and is willing to share there experiences with me. Maybe you can help me understand what will be happening.

yes i too have lung cancer but i cant tell ya much cause they My dr. has put  me ata stand stiill from tests and stuff cause i dont have medical . but ill try and help  if possible .ive had ct scans and lots of xrays still arent sure whats next

my husband was diagnosed with inoperable stage 111 lung cancer in January 2007 he has undergone 35 daily radiation treatments two cycles of cisplatin and etopiside 2 cycles of taxotere and is about to start alimta these treatments did work and he is feeling much better than when he started.  If you have questions I would love to help you keep your chin up that is so important. I know from my husband this is not easy to do and it is scary but you can do this.

I'm here cause my dad was just diagnosed with Stage IIIB lung cancer.  We start chemo next Friday.  We're going with Gemzar and Carboplatin.  The Dr. also added Avastin.  I'll let you know as soon as he starts what to expect.  His treatment regimen is 2 consecutive Fridays and then a week off.  We're going to do this for 6-8 treatments and then a follow up CAT scan.

I was diagnosed with Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer in April.  Would be glad to share with you my experience so far.  

 

Hi Isisk I just know I have lung caner an really havent said what stage. I just started my fist treatment and they cancer the second because the blood count was ok but would liked it hight so I go this Friday for second, I have the fist thur the arm in hospital and the next to at home with pills have you heard of this and so far no sickness and he said 4 but maybe 5-6 which I hope not but wont know until cat scan after 2nd or three to see if it shrink.
