I've found a lot of help at bcmets.org. Beware this is a message board, so not all of the news is great, but I find the women there incredibly helpful and encouraging. Good luck to you.

My mother was dx with breast cancer in April 2008, had a mas. and had rounds of chemo which ended in Oct 2008. On June 29, 2009, we found out the breast cancer had mest. to her lungs, liver, chest area lymph nodes, and bones. She is just starting chemo after receiving a chest tube to clear out the fluid. How long ago was you diagnosed with the metastatic breast cancer? Is the chemo slowing down your cancer? Are you in alot of pain? I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions. I just real upset that it came back so fast and the doctor didn't even realize it. She was having a tumor marker lab done monthly, and it never showed anything. I can use any support.

What state are you located in?

thanks,
