i have noticed a small thing in my breast. it is about the size of a B-B and kind of feels like it too.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past April. I had a mamogram 3/06 which came back normal. I have been fibrocystic since the 80's and though nothing as the size of the lump grew some. This year I was sent for a complete breast check and the nurse found a one of my lymph nodes inlarged. So my advice is to go and get a mammogram/ultrasound. Once they read it they will either say it looks 'normal' or 'suspicious' and refer you to seek further treatment which could be either biopsy to a lumpectomy. If you are uninsured, you can go to your local Planned Parenthood to get the referral for a mammogram or what ever.

My lump was found on a mammogram. Because of where it was it was not detected for 2 years, even though there was something, no one thought it was a lump. I had a lumpectomy. It was 2.3 cm. See your doctor. The smaller the lump the easier the treatment. It may not even be maligient.
i felt a small lump about a month ago. Immediately made a Dr's app.Had a mammoram they saw another tiny spot. The lump I felt turned out to be 1.8 centimeters, Which I understand to be relatively small.The other one couldn't even be felt.I had surgery <Lumpetomy> on 7-20-07 The lump I discovered was cancer, and he removed both lumps and some tissue so I won't need further surgery there, but he says he will do some lympnode surgery. I am returning to him on thursday 7-26-07. So I will know more than about the tiny lump they saw on the mammogram
Call your doctor right away!! I could be nothing! But, if it is cancer, you want to take care of it right away. Early stage breast cancer is curable, so don't wait. Good luck to you, and G-d bless! From a breast cancer survivor!
