Hey, Greg: I saw your posing. I was diagnosed in March of 05. My friend David was diagnosed in Dec. of 04. He had colon cancer stage 3 and I had kidney cancer stage 4. He had to wear the colostomy for several months and did real well with it. He even went diving in the Bahamas with it. We played golf a lot too. It was very special to have someone that you were friends with go through this together. We joked about how sick we both got from the chemo. That may sound really ridiculous but it really helped both of us.
In any event, try ot look at this as a very special situation. You are among some incredible people in the world that are faced with this disease. You may not realize it yet but you have people out there that are with you in spirit. I read your posting and immediately felt a bond. I hope that your cancer can be cured. It sounds like they caught it in time. I am stage four which means there is no cure for me and I have to deal with my bones hurting all the time. But don't feel sorry for me or yourself. I do a lot of things that most people can't do. I still play golf, I boat and I recently go married. I started a business 2 years ago and I work my ass off everyday and love it.
Well, my advice is to just try and be thankful, forgive anyone in your life that you may need to forgive and look at the sky a lot. Let me know how you are doing and all the best to you and your family. My name is Greg, too. My user name is josephcdalton49
