Hello all:  I am new to the message board, and hope I am doing this right.  I am 69 years old.  I was diagnosed in 2006 with metastatic breast cancer to my bones and lymph nodes after being in remission for 8 years.  I have been on Zometa for two years and Abraxane was added in January.  I wondered if anyone has had any experience with Avastin.  I know there has been great success with it, but it also has severe side effects, such as stroke and heart attack.  I was wondering if this drug has been tested in people of my age group who are already at risk of strokes and heart attack.  I pray for all suffering from this devastating illness.
