I am Doing Well

I have had two chemotherapy sessions and I seem to be doing okay with them. The first session I had reactions. My throat started to close and they had to give me an IV shot of Benadryl. Then when I went back for the second appt in the first session, I had a reaction then as well. Throwing up and started to pass out. The nurses were very on the ball and within ten to fifteen minutes had shot me with Benadryl and a steroid. Then the steroid made me shake so bad they had to give me a shot of Ativan. But, I realized it wasn't from the chemo. My entire family developed a stomach virus. Was not a good first week. But I had my second session starting on May 19th. Those sessions I was fine.My white blood count was so low that they had to give me a shot of Nuelasta, which boosts your white blood count. But, can cause bone pain. I only have the pain if you bump into me. Otherwise I am fine.  I still have my hair (thank God) but they tell me it will probably start to fall out soon. I don't want to lose my hair as I am a vain person and can admit it. But I would rather lose my hair than die. I want to watch my family grow. I am scared but I am fighting.
