Memorial Day Weekend

It has been the most fun weekend! I have been hiking, canoeing, burn partying...it is all good! I have had a great few days. My energy level is outstanding, I feel great!

It is all good

I am feeling GREAT! I have been living life! Doing what I do best. I have my 2nd scan on Wednesday and I just know it is all good. My hair is growing. My energy is back. I am smiling!

Cancer Free

My counts are rising! It is all good. I am feeling so much stronger and better. I am anxious to have my first CT scan. It is scheduled for Feb. 20, and then I have my follow-up appointment with Dr. Depriest on Feb. 26. So after that I will feel so much...

Nicholasville

I feel GOOD today! In fact, I feel so good that I had to get out in that great sunshine! I took a long ride to Nicholasville with a friend today. I drove the back way from Berea through Lancaster and took 27 N to find Tom Dorman State Nature Preserve...

Fat Tuesday!

I don't feel so fat on this Tuesday...but at least I can finally eat! I am hoping to gain a few pounds this week! And it feels great knowing I won't lose them to chemo anymore!!! YAHOO!!!

Last Chemo

My last chemo is over! I feel blahhhhhhhhh...but this should pass in a few days. I was really depleted this time. I had to have a unit of blood and a blood building shot (Anaresp) to push me up on my toes again. I am feeling more like eating/drinking...

Chemo Cake Party - Bank

We had a chemo cake party at the bank today! We celebrated with a fun cake! See the photos! It was a big fun day. My First Sergeant MSgt LaShunda Lewis drove all the way down from Indiana to present the First Sergeant's coin to me! She is wonderful...

Coasting

I am coasting along! Blood counts are okay. I am feeling pretty good. I am staying healthy to prepare for my 6th/Last chemo on January 31st!

Chemo 5 Successful!

I made it through Chemo #5 successfully. No strange reactions. Just the normal after chemo blahs...I will be feeling better in a few days. But it was a chemo down...just one more to go! Yahoo!

Good Week!

I had a good week! I was able to work all week. I got some great walking in. I could even take Yokai to the dog park a few times as well! My blood counts were good this week. It is all good!

Chemo 4 Successful!

I am back home from Chemo 4! It went fine. No reactions. Some slight delays...but only administrative within the hospital. (Computer problems) But....it is all good!!! I feel really tired...and I am sure it will be 2 or 3 days before I feel good. But...
