I was diagnosed with Multiple Myleoma in June of 1995, I had too have chemo in May of 1996 for 8 months because my Blood count was to low to take chemo every 4 weeks.  I was on melephan and predisone.  My oncologist gave me 3 yrs and right now I have been here 13 yrs.  I am having a lot of problems with my blood and had to have 4 pts. of blood. and I have to have iron infusions every month.  I have many tests to go for now so that they can find out were the bleeding is coming from.  I just had a colonoscophy 3 weeks ago and now I will me going for a endoscophy because I small blood vessels in the small bowel and they have to be cauterized.  I also have to go for a renal  ultra scan because  my right kidney isn't doing very well.  In Feb. of this year they found a nodule on the left lung so I went for a Chest X-ray Cat scan and pet scan and everything came back OK.  now I have to go for another cat scan as a follow -  up.  I have been quite busy with test since Feb., but I have to still count my blessings.
