Hi,

I am new to this so its  not going to be the best post LOL

I am a 66 yr old widow and have had 4 primary cancers  including this latest lung cancer.  This will be the frist time i have had chemotherapy . its a stage 2 which i had 7 weeks of radiation. the tumor did shrink 1/2 its size so that was good news and it stopped me from coughing up blood. Tomorrow i start my first day of chemo and i am not ashamed to say that i am very anxious about it. I am hoping that others will share thier stories and any tips they may have. all advice is more then welcome. This Lung Cancer is scarier to me then the larynx cancer i had which was a stage 4.I forgot to say that i am a total larynjectomee from the larynx cancer. I am only able to speak with a electrolarynx ( electronic gizmo) cant tell you how aggravating it is  to try and make phone calls and get hung up on or cussed out because they think i am prank calling or kid playing with a toy.
