The Seven Levels of Healing Affirmations

 

Affirmations are powerful tools that can help you clarify your intentions, focus your mind and heart, and find strength and inspiration on your cancer journey. The following affirmations are designed to support you in each of The Seven Levels of Healing:

Level 1: Education and Information

"Today I receive and embrace all the information I need to move forward in healing and transforming my life on all levels."

Level 2: Connection with Others

"I am connected with all beings, and can find the love and support I need to help and guide me in all areas of my life."

Level 3: Body as Garden 

"Today I will honor and care for my body as a precious, sacred garden. I will treat it with kindness and love; feed it healthy, nutritious food; breathe deeply; and rejoice in the gift of being alive."

Level 4:  Emotional Healing 

"Today I release all pain and judgments from my heart. I hold myself with tenderness, compassion, and love—choose forgiveness and kindness for myself and others."

Level 5: Nature of Mind

"Today I am freed from the entrapments of the mind. Releasing thoughts, beliefs, and meanings from the past, I am free to live fully in the present."

Level 6: Life Assessment

"Today I connect with the highest intentions of my mind, heart, and spirit. I am alive for a purpose and am inspired to fulfill it. In every moment, I am being guided towards the fulfillment of my purpose."

Level 7: Nature of Spirit

"Today I connect with my spiritual essence—ocean of love and pure being that is the deepest truth of who I am."


Some tips for using these affirmations:

  • Use each affirmation along with its corresponding level of The Seven Levels of Healing.
  • Post it in a place where you will see it often.
  • Recite it silently or aloud, taking time to feel the meaning and impact of the words.
  • Repeat several times a day.

ACOG Updates Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines

November 20, 2009 — The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has revised its cervical cancer screening recommendations: the organization now recommends that women begin screening at the age of 21 and receive screening at less frequent intervals. New Velcade®-melphalan Transplant Regimen for Multiple Myeloma

November 20, 2009 — Researchers from France have reported encouraging results with adding Velcade® (bortezomib) to high-dose melphalan followed by autologus stem cell infusion for initial treatment of patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. Folic Acid May Be Beneficial in Patients with Recurrent Colorectal Adenoma Who Are Folate Deficient

November 20, 2009 — Researchers affiliated with the Health Professional Follow-Up Study and the Nurses’ Health Study have reported that folic acid supplementation in patients with recurrent colorectal adenoma was not protective or harmful in most patients. However, patients who were folate deficient had a significant 39% decrease in adenoma recurrence. The details of this study appeared in an early online publication on October 28, 2009 in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
